Today, curry goat is more favorable in my house in comparison to Curry chicken which I make all the time. For those of you who have never tried it, it is a Must-Have Jamaican dish When cooked right. You will find it more sensitive and flavorful than any beef stew you ever endured.

Back in the old days when Curry Goat was the ruler of the “big boogie Dance or Night Night,” you had to hire a “Specialist” to prepare, and “Mek it Sell Off”
That person was a senior person in the community or town usually, who experienced notoriety, and was well suggested.
The “big dance” design of cooking had not been easy to imitate, so to speak.
The specialist cook never revealed exactly what he was doing. In case anyone attempted to “crowd the specialist,”see your face would be kindly instructed to find another thing to do.
Therefore the Curry Goat baking remained a guarded key for quite some time…at least the big Dance cooking style.
If you got a party for a teenager now, you were not expected to make the big party Curry Goat, however, the same high standard of cooking was demanded from your guests, indeed.
And when the coordinator makes a mistake and provides a typical Curry Goat way too many times, there would be murmur and gossip about the cooking… to say the least.

We have been making this soups called “mannish water” for many years. It is believed by some Jamaican men, that this soup makes you a “champion” in the bedroom.

It makes you deliver on your promise to women… mek yu back strong… stand firm for the third term… pump it up… wok gal hard…
You know, women drink “mannish water” too, nonetheless, they never say everything with what it does for them. Mmm… I question sometimes? I think if you ask these women… let alone.
This delightful soup is made from the goat’s head, foot, and tripe. Other materials are added too, such as green bananas, yams, onions, salt, and scotch bonnet pepper.
I experienced to say this soup because a party or “big dance” would not be the same without “Mannish Water” and Curry Goat together… Like Sea and Sand.
This is serious… there’s a song that was obviously a reach in Jamaica called,
“RAM GOAT LIVER”… Yes Without a doubt!!!

You can get Goat Head and Foot from your meat/butcher shop where it’s cleaned, examined, and prepared available to the public.
If you kill the goat by yourself, you will need to burn the hair off the goat’s head and feet before you cook it. Anyhow you look at it, the head of frizzy hair must be removed: if possible with fire.

Jamaican Curry Great Recipe
3 lbs Goat beef, sliced in cubes
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp African American pepper
5-6 Tbsp Curry powder
1 large Onion, sliced
4-6 cloves Garlic clove, minced
1 Scotch bonnet pepper, cut and discard seed products (handle carefully)
4 Tbsp Cooking food oil
4 cups boiling Water
1 large springtime Thyme
1 medium Onion, chopped
3 medium Potatoes, each slice in 3 pieces
1 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
Jamaican Curry Goat
Mix goat meat together, salt, dark pepper, 4 Tbsp curry natural powder, 1 large onion sliced up, garlic clove, Scotch bonnet pepper. Please in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 5 times) to marinate.
Curry Goat Recipe
1. Take away the sliced up onions and scotch bonnet pepper from the plate of marinated goat meat and reserve.
2. Heat cooking oil in large saucepan on High. Place goat meat in skillet and darkish to seal in juices.
3. Once the meat is browned add thyme and 2 cups of boiling drinking water; cover, lower heating to Medium-Low and simmer for about 1 hour
4. Chop 1 medium onion and increase pot combined with the sliced onion and Scotch bonnet pepper that was set aside earlier.
5. Add 2 cups of boiling drinking water and make it boil up.
5. Taste and remove Scotch bonnet pepper predicated on your flavor; add more curry natural powder to taste.
6. Add potatoes and tomato ketchup; simmer on low temperature for 1/2 full hour, or until the meat is dropping off the bone. Serve with white rice and a green salad.
Curry Chicken Recipe
Rice and curry chicken is one of the easiest dishes to prepare. Added to the simplicity of organizing this dish, nothing beats the preference of rooster curry with rice. First one will have to make a sauce that will go along with this chicken recipe.
One needs the following to make the sauce; 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon mustard and 1 tablespoon honey. These are mixed together to form a paste that is defined apart to be offered with the chicken breast curry.
In preparing the chicken recipe, you need; 2 skinless boneless chicken white meat, 1tablespoon essential olive oil, 1 glass of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of curry powder, 1 teaspoon of freshly grounded pepper, 1 onion, garlic and salt to tastes. Place the poultry in salted water and leave to simmer with garlic for 25minutes. Remove and drain the chicken. Place the onions on heated up essential oil, add the curry while the onion is still translucent and blend for one minute. Place the onion apart and place chicken breast in the olive oil. Cook until the chicken is wholly cooked. Remove the poultry and place back again the onion and cream on low warmth. Mix till a paste is formed. Put the chicken in and leave to make for ten minutes and remove.
For the rice preparation, one needs; a glass of rice, 2 mugs of normal water, 1 teaspoon veg essential oil, onion and salt to tastes. Place onions in a saucepan with warmed oil. Add grain and cook till it begins to turn dark brown. Add 2 cups of normal water or chicken broth and prepare food for a quarter-hour, remove and cover.
The type of grain used greatly determines the amount of water to be utilized. This poultry recipe is enjoyed by many people who favor good and fast cooking food.
